Community Sports Coaching

Develop your sports coaching and leadership skills whilst inspiring young people through sport in rural Kenya on our Community Sports Coaching Programme. You will be involved in every aspect of sport development from establishing football pitches and netball/volleyball courts, to classroom theory sessions and practical sports coaching. Primarily working with Sasenyi Primary and Secondary School where there are 710 students between the ages of 5-18, you will make a huge difference as sports education is virtually non-existent due to a lack of resources and time. The 4-week sports volunteer programme builds up to an inter- school tournament and community fun run for hundreds of local school students. There will be some very proud and unforgettable moments as you witness the progress of your teams and become an integral part of such a positive and powerful community event.
